Quite some time has gone by since we’ve heard anything about Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. There hasn’t even been a trailer since the September 2021 PlayStation Showcase, prompting some concern that it isn’t coming out in 2023 anymore — though, as first spotted by DaulShockers, developer Insomniac Games insists there’s nothing to worry about.
“Don’t [worry],” Insomniac said on Twitter in response to a fan. “We’re making good progress, and it’s still slated for 2023. Showing games takes time, effort, resources, and coordination.”
With how many high-profile game delays there’s been in the past few months, it’s understandable that fans might be a little concerned something is up with Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. We all need reassurance now and then!
Don't. We're making good progress and it's still slated for 2023. Showing games takes time, effort, resources, and coordination.

Insomniac Games has also been busy with Spider-Man Remastered’s stellar PC port, with the Miles Morales spinoff landing on PC soon too. Both ports support much higher resolutions and graphical options than the console versions, so it might be worth checking out if you have a solid desktop or laptop. There’s no extra content, unfortunately.
Insomniac Games is also working on Marvel’s Wolverine, which hasn’t had a development update since last fall, either. These things take time, though — we’ll almost certainly hear more about it soon enough.
