Spice Girls unveil 30th anniversary singles box set as tour hopes dashed

  • The Spice Girls have announced a new limited-edition 14-disc box set titled The Singles Collection, scheduled for release on 6 November to commemorate the 30th anniversary of their debut album Spice .
  • Available on both CD and 7-inch coloured vinyl, the collection gathers all of the pop group's chart-topping hits alongside B-sides, collectible art cards, individual member messages, and previously unreleased archive demos such as Do You Think About Me.
  • The product release was preceded by a cryptic teaser video on Instagram depicting the original 1994 advertisement from The Stage placed on the stairs featured in their iconic Wannabe music video.
  • Several fans expressed disappointment following the reveal, having anticipated that the nostalgic teasers were leading up to a live reunion tour announcement rather than a merchandise release.
  • Comprising Victoria Beckham, Melanie Brown, Emma Bunton, Melanie Chisholm, and Geri Halliwell-Horner, the record-breaking group last performed together during their 2019 Spice World tour.
