The news comes after Mel C addressed rumours the Spice Girls may be gearing up to reunite at next year’s Glastonbury Festival, earlier this week.

Sporty Spice appeared on Heart Breakfast on Wednesday to promote her new book ‘Who I Am: My Story’, when conversation turned to a potential headline set for the hit girl band. Rumours have been circulating for months that all of the girls – including Victoria Beckham, who turned down the band’s 2019 reunion tour – are keen to perform on the legendary Pyramid Stage next year.

When host Amanda Holden asked Mel if the rumours were true, she replied: “Oh I wish!”

She continued: "There’s no plans at the moment. “But you know what, let’s all collectively, everyone who wants to see this happen, let’s all think about it now."
