Spice Girl shares 'fun' unseen music video to mark hit song's anniversary

A previously unseen music video for one of the Spice Girls major hits has been released to mark the song's 25th anniversary.

For many, it may seem like only yesterday that Ginger, Sporty, Scary, Baby and Posh Spice were topping the charts and flooding our TVs with groovy dance moves, but some of their songs are nearly 30 years old.

To celebrate a quarter century of the band's hit "Stop", Emma Bunton shared a new version of it's accompanying music video, which sees the girl group dancing in unison on a cobbled suburb street. The shorter version features footage that didn't make it into the original cut all those years ago.

Posting the clip on her Instagram on Friday, Bunton wrote: "Stop is 25 today!!! To celebrate its 25th anniversary, here is a new, fun video from our original shoot 25 years ago!"

Fans went crazy for the new video and quickly flooded the comment section with words of praise. One comment read: "Best best best choreography ever omg can’t believe it’s 25 years."

"Oh maaaaan!! Such great memories," another fan lamented. While a third penned: "Amazing never will forget my daughters dancing the spice girl moves forever in our lives ladies."

Even celebs couldn't help but reminisce, with ITV presenter Holly Willougbhy commenting: "My favourite." While TV personality Fearne Cotten spoke on the 90s outfits: "Still obsessed with all those knee high boots.

Some couldn't believe how long it had been since the song came out. "I suddenly feel very old," wrote one longtime fan.

Back in January, it was predicted that the girl group may reunite for a once off performance at King Charles' Coronation this May. A source close to the royal family revealed that bookers for the event were working on making the show happen.

While nothing has been officially confirmed, Mel B spoke of talks for the group to come together once more when she appeared on American Talk show The View back in January. When asked about the possibility of a reunion, she said: "Oh there is.

"I'm always saying it's gonna happen', but because Covid happened, everything kind of got put on the backfoot. So all five of us are speaking, we're gonna announce something really soon, but I can't say anything right now."
