The SPFL have taken action against two Glasgow boozers with efforts ramped up to stop unauthorised broadcasts being shown in pubs across Scotland as part of their Sky Sports partnership.
In order to show clashes via the broadcaster, licensed and commercial premises wanting to show live league matches in their facility should have a commercial subscription agreement with Sky.
Last season, 14 interim interdicts, also known as temporary injunctions, were granted in Edinburgh's Court of Session against the licenses, stopping unsanctioned broadcasts of Premiership matches whilst the court actions were ongoing. Three permanent interdicts have also been put in place.
