The SPFL has confirmed fixture details for Celtic's rearranged Scottish Premiership match against St Johnstone.

The match was originally scheduled to be played on Saturday, August 22. However, due to Celtic's involvement in Champions League qualifiers against LASK, the game was allowed to be postponed.

Now, the organisers of Scottish football have announced that Martin O'Neill's side will travel to McDiarmid Park to face St Johnstone on Wednesday, September 9, with the game being broadcast by Sky Sports.

Kick-off for the match in Perth next month is at 8pm, which will be the first time O'Neill and Simo Valakari will have faced off as managers.
