Decisions are set to be taken on this weekend's SPFL and Premier League matches as football bosses meet following the Queen's death.
The Irish FA have already declared that no matches will take place in Northern Ireland this weekend after the 96-year-old monarch's passing was announced on Thursday. And associations in Scotland, England and Wales could follow suit as a mark of respect. The Queen's death places the UK into a period of official mourning and events in golf, horse racing and cricket have already been called off. Dundee's Championship meeting with Cove Rangers, which was scheduled for Friday night, will no longer go ahead.
Earlier information had indicated the decision could be left up to clubs but reports south of the border are now claiming it's league bosses who will make a final decision. This could still lead to a raft of postponements if its decided the appropriate course of action is not to play.
