If you thought finishing Elden Ring in under an hour was nuts, speedrunners are blitzing through it in less than 30 minutes now.
The legendary Souls speedrunner Distortion2 broke his previous Elden Ring records several times recently. On Sunday, he dusted the Lands Between 30 minutes and 24 seconds, which is already an achievement. However, early Monday, he made it through Elden Ring in 28 minutes and 59 seconds. Keep in mind that this game takes hundreds of hours to finish for most people. So yeah, you’re (probably) not as good at video games as this guy.

Many refer to speedrunning as “the golf of esports” as it takes immense amounts of planning, practice, and skill, even if it doesn’t look like it from a distance. Some other notable records include finishing Skyrim in 72 minutes and Pokémon Shining Pearl in under an hour.
For anyone without superhuman reflexes, GLHF has tons of Elden Ring guides and even a complete walkthrough.
