Specialist community nurse appointed in blood test drive to combat Hepatitis C

Hepatitis Nurse Salvation Army Forth Valley

The fight against blood borne viruses (BBVs) is being stepped up in Forth Valley.

A specialist community nurse has been appointed and increased outreach services introduced, including visits to Salvation Army premises and homeless units.

The drive is part of a national effort to meet the Scottish Government’s target of eliminating Hepatitis C by 2024/2025.
