Joe Ledley insists there is 'something special' about the current Celtic team and he expects Callum McGregor to be lifting the Scottish Premiership trophy once again come May.
Ange Postecoglou picked up a dream double in his debut season as boss after recapturing the league crown from Rangers and also adding the Premier Sports Cup to his haul. That title success has earned the Hoops a shot at Europe's elite with a spot in the Champions League group stages for the upcoming season.
It's already been a busy summer of transfer activity at Parkhead with the likes of Benjamin Siegrist and Alexandro Bernabei joining loan trio Daizen Maeda, Cameron Carter-Vickers and Jota in penning long-term stays at the club. The latter - who spent the season on loan from Benfica - earned the praise of former Celtic man Ledley for his direct style while he also billed Kyogo Furuhashi, another summer signing last term, as a joy to watch.

Skipper McGregor also came in for special praise from the former Wales international who fully expects the league trophy to be lifted above his head at the end of season - although he does expect it to be another tough task as the fight with rivals Rangers to land top spot begins once again in a matter of weeks.
He told the Sunday Post: “Jota was brilliant to watch.
"He is lively, direct and loves to take people on. He can create chances and also scores some brilliant goals.
“Kyogo is also just a joy. He adapted to Scottish football ever so quickly and gave defenders a torrid time. His game intelligence is as good as anyone in Scottish football and I think he will be even better in the new season.
“Don’t forget he had one or two injuries last season and that interrupted his flow. If he avoids those problems this season he will be sensational.
“Callum McGregor just leads the team very, very well. He is a brilliant footballer and has the respect of everyone around him. It’s nice to see his development and maturity in the last decade. He deserves all the praise that is coming his way.
“At this moment, I expect to see Callum lead Celtic to another title. It will not be easy – it never is – but there is something special about this Celtic team.”
