A group of eight to ten men posing as CBI officers attempted to raid a businessman's residence in Delhi's Rohini, but were turned away after his wife refused to open the gate and neighbours on the spot demanded to see a search warrant. The men left saying the warrant was in their car and never returned, reports Times of India.
The incident, which bore resemblance to the 2013 Bollywood film Special 26, which depicted a gang impersonating CBI officers to loot homes, was captured on CCTV cameras installed near the residence. Delhi police are examining the footage and investigating the matter.
