Michigan State football has extended a scholarship offer to one of the top prospects from Wisconsin in the 2025 class.
Tre Poteat of Verona, Wisc. announced on Monday that he’s received a scholarship offer from the Spartans. Poteat is listed as a four-star cornerback prospect.
Poteat ranks as the No. 30 cornerback and No. 283 overall prospect in 247Sports’ composite rankings for the 2025 class. He is also listed as the No. 3 player from Wisconsin.
Michigan State is one of nearly 20 schools to extend an offer to Poteat. Other notable programs to extend an offer to Poteat are Florida, Illinois, Michigan, Minnesota, Nebraska, Northwestern, Penn State, Pitt and Wisconsin.
