At the end of last year, Aldi sent shoppers into a frenzy as it stocked the popular Prime energy drink in stores for £1.99. The drink, which was created by YouTube sensations KSI and Logan Paul, was quickly stripped from shelves - despite Aldi's three bottles per person policy.
ASDA also sold the drink for £2. Prime didn't stay on ASDA's shelves for long either, and many parents took to social media to complain about how difficult it was to find.
The Prime drink is now proving so popular, it's being sold for well over its recommended retail price (RRP) online and in corner shops. Now Prime is in stock in some Spar stores, and shoppers have been left 'horrified' by how much it costs.
