VILLARS-SUR-OLLON, SWITZERLAND - JUNE 21: Marcel Camprubi of Spain and Team Pinarello Q36.5 Pro Cycling assisted by the team car during the 89th Tour de Suisse 2026, Stage 5 a 150.7km stage from Villars-sur-Ollon to Villars-sur-Ollon 1249m / #UCIWT / on June 21, 2026 in Villars-sur-Ollon, Switzerland. Marcel Camprubí (Pinarello-Q36.5) upset the odds to take a stunning victory in the elite men's road race at the Spanish national championships on Sunday. After a gruelling day in the Huesca Valley, the 24-year-old was able to get the better of the small leading group - the survivors of the day's early break - to take his first pro victory, following an impressive showing at the Tour de Suisse last week.

The podium lacked any representation from the WorldTour teams, with Joel Nicolau (Caja Rural) finishing in second place and Urko Berrade (Equipo Kern Pharma) in third.
