Spain‘s election is on a knife edge as preliminary results show the left-wing and right-wing parties neck-and-neck.
Early voting data shows that no one party or bloc would win an outright majority, with 50 per cent of votes counted. The ruling Socialist Party is slightly ahead with 131 parliamentary seats. The conservative People’s Party (PP) was just behind at 130 seats.
