People heading to Spain have been warned about a little-known rule before they jump on the plane and land in the sunny country.
As the summer holidays fast approach, travellers are being warned that you have to spend £93-a-day. Spanish officials have been asking visitors to prove you have a return or onward ticket and pre-booked accommodation - a hotel booking confirmation, or proof of address if you're visiting friends or staying in your own property.
The spot checks, according to Birmingham Live, also mean that you could also be asked to prove you have sufficient financial means for the duration of your trip.
