After their 2-1 victory over France in the semi-final, Spain head into the Euro 2024 final having won all six of their matches in the tournament. Lamine Yamal’s stunning strike highlighted what a talent the teenage winger is, with Nico Williams also terrifying defenders on the other side.
England have not been quite as exciting as their opponents, but put in their best performance of the tournament against the Netherlands in the last round. Phil Foden looked dangerous once again before sub Ollie Watkins scored that last-minute winner.
We now know some team news for the Euro 2024 final Luis de la Fuente will be able to welcome back two suspended defenders. Gareth Southgate will have a decision to make at left-back, depending on the fitness of Luke Shaw.

Spain vs England live stream: confirmed team news
The key question for the England squad remains at left-back - how fit is Luke Shaw, and how many minutes can he play? Beyond that change, Gareth Southgate has not shifted anything dramatically. Kobbie Mainoo has cemented his place in midfield next to Declan Rice. Despite his last-minute heroics in the semi-final, Ollie Watkins starts on the bench with Harry Kane still leading the line.
The Three Lions will though be encouraged by the impact subs have made in previous matches. Ivan Toney will also be available as another attacking option, as is Jarrod Bowen.
The Spain squad welcome back Dani Carvajal and Robin Le Normand from suspension. Those two head straight into the backline, with 38-year-old Jesus Navas returning to the bench. Marc Cucurella will resume duties at left-back. Despite being knocked down by a security guard, skipper Alvaro Morata is fine to lead his team into the final. Pedri does though remain out injured.
