Spain's Tourism Minister has said that tourists that are not vaccinated against Covid will be allowed to enter the country soon. Until now the popular holiday destination has required a vaccination certficate.
The means that unvaccinated tourists have not been able to head to Spain, even though most of the countries Covid curbs have been relaxed. Face masks are no longer required in most places, for example.
This week Spain extended its Covid entry rules, which had been due to end this week, until June 15. It said that meant people travelling to the country need to either prove that they are fully vaccinated at least 14 days before arrival, or show they have recovered from having Covid in the past six months
