Those heading to Spain on their Easter holidays will find it easier to get abroad as Spain has now axed most of its Covid restrictions. The country did have one of the highest covid rates in Europe but now holidaymakers will not need to isolate or test if they have mild symptoms.
Spanish Prime Mister Pedro Sanchez has said that he wants the country to treat covid as an illness instead of an emergency. The rules should stay in place as long as the rates of patients admitted to hospital stay below 5 per cent. Those travelling into the country will stills have to fill in a Health Control form, stating their Covid status and when you arrive in Spain, you must show your QR code to officials to confirm your status. Those who are fully or partially vaccinated will need to give supporting evidence at least 14 days prior to entering.
