Spain's football federation (RFEF) has put forward 11 stadiums as potential hosts for matches during the 2030 World Cup. These include the iconic home grounds of LaLiga powerhouses Barcelona, Real Madrid, and Atlético Madrid. Spain is set to co-host the tournament with Portugal, Morocco, Argentina, Uruguay, and Paraguay as part of the centenary celebrations.

In addition to the proposed match venues, the RFEF has identified 45 other stadiums to serve as team bases during the tournament. Among the additional stadiums are those belonging to LaLiga clubs such as Sevilla, Malaga, Real Sociedad, Athletic Club, Las Palmas, and newly promoted Espanyol.

Interestingly, Valencia's Mestalla Stadium, despite its capacity of 49,430, did not make the cut for the list of potential venues. The RFEF stated that all possibilities were thoroughly evaluated, including the option of expanding to 13 venues, which would require unanimous agreement from the three federations involved.

The RFEF has specified that the tournament will feature a maximum of 20 venues, ensuring a diverse range of locations for the matches. Meanwhile, Morocco, one of the co-hosts, has announced plans to construct a new stadium near Casablanca and upgrade six existing stadiums in preparation for the World Cup.
