Soy-Allergic Shoppers in Cincinnati, Dayton and Northern Kentucky Should Check Freezers for Recalled Saint Francis Apizza Pizzas

A Cincinnati pizza maker is recalling four varieties of its frozen pizzas because the labels do not tell shoppers that the pies contain soy. Saint Francis Apizza LLC said its Pepperoni, Plain Cheese, Supreme, and Mushroom and Onion frozen pizzas were sold at specialty shops in Cincinnati, Milford, Carlisle, Dayton, Fort Thomas, and Covington, and through an online seller, according to the company's recall notice posted by the FDA.

The company announced the voluntary recall on Oct. 1, 2026, and the FDA posted it on Oct. 3. The notice says the labels left out two soy-based sub-ingredients: soybean oil and soy lecithin.
