It Disney get much better than this for Southerness.
The coastal village is counting down the hours until their gala next weekend.
Starting on Friday July 1, with events running all weekend on site and at the Mermaid Bar, the theme for Saturday’s event is the World of Disney.
Connor Nelson, who is helping to put on events, said: “We’ve been planning this for a while, basically a year in advance.
“We’re getting really excited for it now as it gets closer and closer. There’s a lot of people looking forward to it especially with a Disney theme.”
Mermaid Bar manager Nick Hunt is organising a full weekend of events starting from 7pm on Friday.
On Saturday the fancy dress parade starts at 11.30am with inflatables, go kart hire, a fun fair and more available for kids throughout the day.
