Southampton manager Tonda Eckert apologises for Spygate scandal: 'I made a mistake'

Southampton head coach Tonda Eckert has issued an apology for orchestrating the ‘Spygate’ scandal, accepting full responsibility for “everything that has happened”.

The south-coast club were removed from the Championship play-offs last month after admitting to sending a junior intern to spy on a Middlesbrough training session.
