Southampton interim boss Ruben Selles has warned that his side can 'beat anybody' on their day after condemning Chelsea to a 1-0 defeat at Stamford Bridge. The South Coast club remain bottom of the table, but face Leeds United at Elland Road in another relegation six-pointer this Saturday.
Leeds plummeted into the relegation zone following a 1-0 defeat against Everton at Goodison Park on the weekend. The Toffees climbed out of the bottom three as a result, while Leeds extended their winless run to 10 games.
Selles marked his managerial debut with three points, and is confident that if Southampton show the same mentality at Leeds, then they are capable of giving any side a very difficult contest.

"For us it means more than just the result," Selles told BBC Match of the Day. "For 100 to 110 minutes we have seen a team that works together, fights together.
"Now, that's how we need to play together every single time, every single moment. We spoke before the game, if we give the boys the chance to perform during the game, we can be at our best and we can beat anybody.
"That's what they did and thinking more about not only the result. I think what we won today [Saturday] is a team working together, and a feeling that the teams in front of us need to play their best game if they want to win."
