Ten fire engines and 70 firefighters have successfully tackled a blaze with massive plumes of smoke visible from ten miles away.
The fire broke out on Tachbrook Road in Southall, west London, with emergency services taking over two-and-a-half hours to bring it under control.
Most of a single-storey commercial garage caught on fire, along with an adjoining storage area, several cars and a container of oil.
Around 30 people had been evacuated from nearby properties as firefighters work to cool three cylinders to prevent them from exploding due to the heat.
The London Fire Brigade tweeted to confirm nobody had been injured.

They said: "The garage fire in #Southall is now under control but firefighters will remain on scene damping down. Our 999 Control Officers took over 40 calls to the blaze. There are currently no reports of any injuries."
The plume could also be seen from Kew Gardens and even Runnymede as the fire service rushed to the scene in Tachbrook Road.
Local residents were urged to close their windows and doors as firefighter continue to battle the flames.
The London Fire Brigade said in a statement earlier: "Ten fire engines and around 70 firefighters have been called to a fire on Tachbrook Road in Southall.
"Most of a single-storey commercial garage, an adjoining storage area and several cars are alight. A container of oil is also alight. Around 30 people have been evacuated from neighbouring properties.
"Three cylinders were removed from the building before the Brigade arrived and firefighters are cooling them to an ambient temperature as some cylinders can explode when exposed to heat. A 25-metre cordon is in place as a precaution.
"The Brigade’s 999 Control Officers have taken over 40 calls to the blaze.
"The Brigade was called at 1145. Fire crews from Southall, Hayes, Feltham, Heathrow and surrounding fire stations are at the scene.
"The cause of the fire is not known at this time."
Station Commander Graeme Hunter, who is at the scene, said: "The fire is producing heavy smoke, which is visible for miles.
"We are urging residents in the area to close their windows and doors."
The service added at 1.15pm: "Crews are continuing to tackle the fire in #Southall. Most of a commercial garage, an adjoining storage area and several cars are alight. A container of oil is also alight. Please avoid the area."
One person tweeted photos taken from Runnymede which shows the large plume were posted online.
Eyewitness Colin Matthews told MyLondon: "I've left the scene now, but I saw a huge number of ambulances, police cars and instigation vehicles - it is clearly a very serious incident."
Another took to the social media platform with a video.
They wrote: "Something is seriously on fire near Heathrow Airport it's certainly on the flight path of the airport. #Heathrow #fire".
The scene is close to Southall Recreation Ground.
