The basketball world has been buzzing with excitement as South Sudan made a remarkable debut in the Olympic men's basketball tournament. Despite being a young country, officially established only 13 years ago, South Sudan has already made a significant impact on the international basketball stage.
In their first-ever Olympic men's basketball game, South Sudan secured a convincing 90-79 victory over Puerto Rico, showcasing their talent and determination. This victory comes on the heels of a closely contested warmup game against Team USA, where South Sudan pushed the NBA superstars to the final buzzer.
