A battle to save a Wimbledon pub from closure looks to have become a glass half full situation with the local community hoping to collectively own it by Christmas.
The diminutive pub has become a firm favourite among local residents, beer enthusiasts and AFC Wimbledon fans, thanks to its convivial atmosphere and historic charm. So beloved is it that some have even dubbed it the “community’s living room”.
