Staff, students and even therapet puppies came together to welcome visitors to South Lanarkshire College's open doors event.
More than 450 visitors were treated to campus tours, free breakfast rolls and presentations from the College Student Association, SAAS and Alternative Funding and the acting principal, Alan Sherry on the community day.
Guests also enjoyed sessions in storytelling and tricks from magicians with stalls from exhibitors including Kilbryde Hospice, Police Scotland, Love2Ride and Di Maggio's.
College departments offered hand and nail treatments, an introduction to the law, the chance to experience the life of a flight attendant, face painting, chocolate demonstrations, construction activities and much more.
Over the community open day weekend the college received 68 applications and the college now looks forward to welcoming every one of these new students when classes begin over the next few weeks.
Acting principal Alan Sherry told Lanarkshire Live: "In true SLC fashion, we have started the new academic year with a bang, with our community open day on Saturday, August 20.
"The day was a great success with around 450 visitors on campus.
"From recipes to bricklaying, mocktails to storytelling and magicians to face painting it was brilliant to see everyone having a great day.
"On behalf of SLC I would like to thank everyone for their contribution to the success of the community open day.
"The feedback from all who attended has been extremely positive, especially from those who took part in activities and spoke to colleagues."
