South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol, Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida and Chinese Premier Li Qiang called on Monday for greater cooperation between the Asian neighbours as they held a three-way summit for the first time in more than four years.
Li said the summit represented a "new beginning" and called on the countries to promote multilateralism and fight trade protectionism.
