A senior South Australian prison guard has been ordered to stand trial accused of child sex offences.
Stewart Iain Berry pleaded not guilty in the Adelaide Magistrates Court to several charges, including producing, possessing and disseminating child exploitation material, and indecent filming.
The 38-year-old was arrested in March last year by the South Australian Joint Anti Child Exploitation Team (JACET) following an investigation by SA Police and the Australian Federal Police.
The court has previously heard Mr Berry engaged in sexually explicit communication with another person online, and that he was alleged to have sent two links to cloud storage accounts containing child exploitation material.
During a police search of his Salisbury Park home, officers allegedly found covert cameras and video files of adults bathing and children in various states of undress at his home.
The matter will return to court in September.
Mr Berry has been recently charged with six more offences, including maintaining an unlawful sexual relationship with a child, unlawful sexual intercourse with a person under the age of 17 and inciting an indecent act by a child, and possessing child exploitation material.
Those offences are alleged to have occurred in Adelaide's north and Port Lincoln between 2017 and 2020.
He is yet to enter a plea to those charges and that matter will return to court next month.
Mr Berry remains on bail.
