The Cardinals have had contact with many cornerback prospects in this draft cycle. One is South Alabama cornerback Darrell Luter.
According to The Draft Network’s Justin Melo, the Cardinals were one of many teams to meet with Luter virtually.
Luter is 6 feet tall and weighed 189 pounds at the NFL combine. He ran the 40 in 4.46 seconds, posted a 6.90-second three-cone and had a 40.5-inch vertical leap.
Last season for South Alabama, he had 42 tackles, half a tackle for loss, an interception and seven pass breakups.
He played outside cornerback in college.
He is projected as a Day 3 selection at best.
