Sotheby’s announced an exhibition that marks Queen Elizabeth's 70-year rule with works of art portraying queens who have ruled throughout history, reported the German News Agency.

The exhibition features the iconic "Armada portrait of Elizabeth I" described as "one of most seminal images of female power ever created,” depicting the defeat of the Spanish marine forces against the British army led by the Queen.

It also displays Andy Warhol’s "Reigning Queens" series from 1985, and a work of the queen, donated by artist Chris Levine, which will be auctioned by the end of June. It is expected to fetch between 100,000 pounds and 150,000 pounds ($130,000-$196,000).

Sotheby’s also announced the exhibition will display key portraits of Mary I, Mary II, Queen Anne, and Queen Victoria, in addition to tens of royal crowns, and historic manuscripts.

Queen Elizabeth II, 95, has been crowned on February 6, 1952. Her Platinum Jubilee is set to be celebrated with various events including formal ceremonies in London, in early June. The Jubilee Arts Festival exhibition will run from May 28 to June 15, and will be opened to the public for free.
