Watch What Happens Live settled down with the Netflix star to talk about Stranger Things 5. During their conversation, that crush Mike is still a hot topic of conversation among the fans. Especially with the revelations from volume one of the final season, some people are hoping for a happy ending. While that doesn’t seem to be the Duffer Brothers style, that isn’t stopping that wishful thinking. But these new comments from Schnapp might!
“I mean, look, it’s like a real authentic representation of a queer kid in the 80s,” Schnapp admitted. “I’ve dealt with that myself, like being in love with my best friend, and maybe they don’t love you back or they feel differently. I’m not gonna spoil anything but I think the Duffers close it really well.”
