Sophie Turner has revealed all about her family and dating life in a new interview.
The Game of Thrones actress, 29, told Porter magazine she suffers from “mum guilt”, and that she doesn’t have the time to date - juggling motherhood and her successful career.
Turner is the mother of two daughters with ex-husband Joe Jonas: Willa, born in July 2020, and Delphine, born in July 2022.
“The mum guilt is there forever,” she told the interviewer, who Turner acknowledged was pregnant.
“I work all week and then, on the weekends, I’ll spend all day with my kids each day,” she added.
“But if I go out for lunch with a friend, I will run back home because my heart is sinking that I’ve left them.”
The actress also opened up about her romantic life, saying she hasn’t been on a date in “months”.
“I mean, I haven’t seen my friends or gone on a date in weeks, months!” she said.
“I just sack off parts of my life sometimes. I only have the capacity for work and family right now. But I’m working on it. I’ll get there.”
Turner split from ex-boyfriend Peregrine Pearson in September, and was later rumoured to be dating Coldplay frontman Chris Martin.
Turner added that she wants her work ethic to be passed down to her kids.
“In order to be a great role model for them, I have to have a passion for myself,” she added.
“I love that they see me going out to work every day and working my arse off.”
Turner also confessed she wanted the next period of her life to be less chaotic.
“I just want to have some peace in my thirties,” she said.
“I feel like it’s been really hectic for a long time and I’m ready to not have that anymore,” she added.
“Just settle a bit.”
Last year, Turner hit back at a critic who unfairly accused her of “forgetting” her children after she enjoyed a night out at an Oasis concert.
Turner shared photos of herself wearing a bucket hat and partying at an Oasis ‘Live 25 reunion show with a female friend.
“Bucket hats & beers…. That’ll do me,” the Joan actress captioned the post.
One user commented: “Lmfao, I think she has forgotten that she has two kids.”
Turner replied: “Ah I’m so sorry sometimes I forget some people can’t think for themselves.”
The X-Men star added: “So… Get this… There’s this crazy thing called shared custody. Maybe, just maybe, they were with their dad that day.”
Turner finalised her divorce from singer Jonas in 2024, with a judge declaring their marriage was “irretrievably broken”.
The couple, who were married for five years, had a lengthy custody battle over their two daughters and eventually decided to co-parent.
