Sonu Nigam recently joined the bandwagon of celebrities who have expressed their opinion on the ongoing Ajay Devgn and Sudeep’s national language row.
Weighing in on the ongoing debate, Sonu said at an event that nowhere in the constitution it is written that Hindi is our national language. It might be the most spoken language, but not the national language. In fact, Tamil is the oldest language. There is a debate between Sanskrit and Tamil. But, people say Tamil is the oldest language in the entire world.
The ace singer pointed out that there are enough issues that need to be resolved with other nations and it is futile to initiate a new problem within the country.
