TCU head coach Sonny Dykes was unanimously voted the Chuck Neinas Coach of the Year by the Big 12 on Wednesday.
Dykes led a lengthy list of Horned Frogs that were represented with the release of the Big 12 all-league teams after TCU completed a 12-0 regular season.
Dykes has also led the No. 3 Horned Frogs to contention for one of the four College Football Playoff spots. TCU will face No. 10 Kansas State on Saturday in the Big 12 championship game.
Max Duggan was voted Big 12 Offensive Player of the Year. He won the 2022 Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award just hours before.
Duggan leads the Big 12 in passing efficiency, touchdown passes (29), completion percentage (66.6), passing yards (3,070), yards per attempt (9.3) and yards per completion (13.9).
Linebacker Johnny Hodges was voted Defensive Newcomer of the Year and Derius Davis was voted Special Teams Player of the Year.
Hodges is TCU’s leading tackler and Davis led the league in punt return yards with two punt return touchdowns.
Ten TCU players were selected first-team All-Big 12 and the Horned Frogs had 11 selections total.
