Son's poignant tribute after death of Dublin grandad 'loved by all'

A Dublin community has been rocked by the death of a grandad who was "loved by all".

Tommy Mooney of Blanchardstown died on Friday, October 28 – only two months after being diagnosed with cancer. Son Anthony said the loss of his father has left a big hole in the hearts of his family and the community of Whitestown.

Anthony told Dublin Live: "It’s heartbreaking. He got diagnosed with cancer eight weeks ago and now he’s just gone.
