Authorities have arrested the son of the man suspected in the recent assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump in Florida. Oran Routh, residing in Greensboro, North Carolina, was taken into custody on federal charges related to possessing child sexual abuse images.
The arrest of Oran Routh followed a search of his residence by law enforcement officials, which was initially part of an investigation unrelated to child exploitation. During the search, authorities discovered numerous electronic devices containing hundreds of files depicting child sexual abuse.
