The Rock has announced that a coffee shop will be opening in one of the empty units next to the Racconto Lounge in just 'a few weeks time'.
The units, in the building opposite JD Sports, on the old site of the nightclub Sol Viva, are believed to have been empty ever since they were built around four-and-a-half years ago.
Now, Bury shoppers are overjoyed that 'something is finally opening in there'.

In Facebook post this morning (Wednesday, February 23), the shopping centre announced that the chain Rob & Berts would be taking up one of the empty units.
It said: "We are excited to announce that Bob & Berts Bury will be opening here at The Rock in just a few weeks time.
"Bob & Berts will be located next to Racconto Lounge - keep your eyes peeled on when they'll be opening."
The coffee chain's slogan gives prospective customers an idea of what they can expect: 'proper coffee - great grub'.
In just a couple of hours, over 100 comments were left below the post.

Another The Rock shopper, Jade Louise Doody, tagged a friend too.
She said: "How weird we were just talking the other day that they’ve been empty for years."
A little while ago, The Manchester Evening News went to The Rock to ask people what they thought of the two units laying empty for so many years.
One shopper said that 'all does is drag the area down' and others simply said it was a 'waste'.
The M.E.N also spoke to the manager of the Racconto Lounge, who said: "We've just not had neighbours for a very long time. It would be nice to have neighbours to increase our footfall - but I think we're just used to it."
"There's nothing wrong with a bit of healthy competition. I don't think it would affect us too much," she added.
