Someone Pack The Bintang Singlets ‘Cos Travel Money Oz Is Slinging $2.5K Gift Vouchers

According to my mum, travel makes the world go round — she gets her aphorisms a little jumbled up, sure, but you get what she’s trying to say.

But you know what also famously (and more popularly used as a saying) makes the world go round? Money. Therefore, in my scientific estimate, it seems that you need money for travel — and more money equals more travel.

The good folks at Travel Money Oz, along with the help of their co-captains at Flight Centre, know this and are celebrating the return of international holidays with a giveaway. They have four $2,500 gift cards up for grabs: here’s how you can nab one.

If you didn’t know, Travel Money Oz is part of Flight Centre’s mission to unravel travel and make your trips as easy as possible. They offer the Travel Money Oz Currency Pass, a card that can be preloaded with up to nine foreign currencies and then used across the world wherever Mastercard is accepted. Whenever you load money, you also lock in the exchange rate of that day*, meaning that no matter what fluctuations the market has in store, you know just how many Pounds or Yen you have for your trip. (There’s nothing worse than seeing that the AUD is down mid-trip and realising you now have a few hundred less Euros to play with, trust me.)

Basically, if you head to a Flight Centre store between 31 March – 28 April 2022 and load a Currency Pass with foreign currency, you’ll go into the draw to win 1 of 4 Flight Centre Gift Cards, with one up for grabs each week. But even if you don’t win, it’s worth entering: if you load the equivalent of $1000+ AUD into a foreign currency on the card, you’ll get $40 off^.  After all, travel makes the world go round! Right, mum?

Grab a Currency Pass and enter the draw here.

Mastercard Prepaid Management Services Australia Pty Ltd (ABN 47 145 452 044, AFSL 386 837) arranges for the issue of the Currency Pass in conjunction with the issuer, Heritage Bank Limited (ABN 32 087 652 024, AFSL 240 984). You should consider the Product Disclosure Statement for the relevant product available at Travel Money Oz’s website and the Target Market Determination available at https://www.heritage.com.au/terms-conditions/target-market-determinations before deciding to acquire the product. Any advice does not take into account your personal needs, financial circumstances or objectives and you should consider if it is appropriate for you.

* Lock in your exchange rates means the exchange rate is locked in for the initial load only. The exchange rates for subsequent reloads will be set at the prevailing exchange rate at the time of the transaction.

+ Travel Money Oz Currency Pass is unable to be used for purchases related to gambling or adult entertainment.  Currently, Travel Money Oz Currency Pass cannot be used in the following countries and geographical regions due to sanctions that are currently in place:  Crimea, Iran, North Korea, Sudan, Syria and as advised in the FAQs.

^$40 off promotion is only valid for a load of AUD 1,000 equivalent made directly in foreign currency between 31 March – 28 April 2022 at a Flight Centre Store and is redeemable only once per cardholder. To go into the draw to win one of four $2,500 Flight Centre Gift Cards load, a minimum of AUD 20 equivalent in an eligible foreign currency at a Flight Centre store between 31 March – 28 April 2022. For full terms and conditions see here and here.
