Everyone has those moments where they just sort of zone out. Like, you’re physically in one space but mentally you’re definitely in another.
Someone is probably talking to you. You have no idea what they’re saying because, obviously, you are not there. And who knows what you’re thinking about? It could be one of life’s greatest mysteries. It could also be about that slice of pizza you had last weekend. It just sort of happens.
That’s what seems to have happened to Gary Trent Jr. during a post-game press conference after the Raptors beat the Heat on Tuesday.
My man was completely frozen out there. Absolutely stuck. Someone forgot to plug this man in.
"I think you're frozen there Jen"
"No, Gary's just not moving" pic.twitter.com/US6QqLTCyY— Brooks Otterlake (@i_zzzzzz) February 1, 2022
“Gary’s just not moving,” is so wild. Jen also is very chill about it. She’s like “oh, no, Gary just isn’t moving,” like this is just what Gary does. It’s hilarious.
The wild part is, after we all identify that Gary is just not moving, he still does not move. At all. It takes a few seconds before he finally chimes in.
This is unequivocally one of the funniest moments of the NBA season. He pulled a Draymond Green.
