Pubs in parts of Scotland are to remain open until one am to toast to the Queen during the notable Platinum Jubilee weekend.
The move will allow landlords to pour drinks until until later than usual, from Thursday June 2 until Monday June 4.
In Glasgow, all licenced premises, with the exception of off-sales and casinos open until six am - will get an extra hour opening time.
A Glasgow City Council statement read: "Each year the Licensing Board publishes its policy on extended licensed hours for the festive period which, at the discretion of the Board, also includes extensions for recognised public holidays and events of national significance."
However, Edinburgh will not be offering the extension to premises during the weekend.
A Council spokesperson said: “Edinburgh’s Licensing Board has agreed not to make a general extension of licensed hours during the Jubilee weekend, which is consistent with its approach for previous similar celebratory events.
“It’s open to licence holders intending to hold events in their premises to make applications for extended hours."
Updates on whether other local authorities will allow the extension are to be confirmed.
In general, most Scottish pubs stay open until midnight, but this varies across the country.
