Some public schools to have budgets slashed under school funding reforms

One public college and 18 public schools will have a significant cut in their funding in a change to the formula for school funding for 2027.

College principals were briefed on Monday ahead of the release of budgets on Tuesday that the per student weighting given to colleges would be reduced next year.
