National Guard to remain in DC despite expiry of Trump’s emergency order

National Guard troops are set to remain in Washington D.C. until at least the end of November, a decision made at the request of the Trump administration.

Ohio Governor Mike DeWine said 150 military police from his state's National Guard would patrol the capital through 30 November.
