A young athlete from the region has been named Scottish Orienteering’s Young Orienteer of the Year.
Isla O’Donoghue, from Dalbeattie, along with a fellow first year student at Aberdeen University, re-introduced orienteering to students and Isla qualified as a coach, building a following to make sure the sport is available for the students on an ongoing basis.
The club would like to congratulate Isla and Charlotte on the award.
