Social welfare payment changes for Easter 2022 in Ireland as thousands of recipients to be affected

Ireland Post Offices

Thousands of social welfare claimants across Ireland are being hit by payment date changes as a result of the Easter break.

The Department of Social Protection is advising recipients that they can expect their payments on different days than usual in the coming days.

The changes are as a result of altered opening hours of social welfare offices and Post Offices over Easter.
