Following Tuesday night's debate between vice presidential candidates Sen. JD Vance and Gov. Tim Walz, Georgia Representative Mike Collins shared an altered photo of Vance leading to ridicule and mockery from X (formerly Twitter) users.

The post, which was captioned "Gm [good morning]." features a shopped image of Vance with an overtly chiseled jaw.
The responses to the post include celebrities, authors and other famous personalities who all joined in on the discussion to mock both Vance and Collins.

Writer Parker Molloy took to the replies of the post to share her own altered image of Vance, a version of the same image Collins shared where the Ohio Senator has been edited to look overweight.
Ben Collins, CEO of digital media company The Onion, also took to X to poke fun at Rep. Collins' post.

Vox journalist Aaron Rupar reposted Collin's original post, questioning the process that produced the altered image of Vance.
"I'm very curious about who made the call in this Republican congressman's office to alter JD Vance's photo to make him more handsome and how that was communicated," wrote Rupar.

Other users also took to X to poke fun at the image, sharing their own altered images of Vance or casting speculation onto the relationship between the Georgia representative and the Ohio senator.

Collins has a history of making controversial posts on social media. Earlier this year, he took to X, posting "You either die a Kennedy with a hole in the brain or live long enough to become a Kennedy with a hole in the brain."
The post followed an article from the New York Times in which RFK Jr. shares the story of how a parasite ate a portion of his brain.

Collins is an avid Trump supporter and has long favored the Republican presidential ticket.
"I'm working to ensure that when we put Donald Trump back in the White House that he has the most America First Congress in history," Collins wrote in a post on Instagram earlier this year.
