It was the slowest of slow starts for the Ohio State football team vs. Maryland on Saturday afternoon, but the Buckeyes found their groove in the second half and ended up with a 20-point win over an undefeated team.
If you were on social media early in the game, there was a great deal of virtual hand ringing and teeth gnashing over a pretty flat and uninspiring performance in the first half. That changed fairly drastically once Ohio State quarterback Kyle McCord and head coach Ryan Day realized that throwing the ball to Marvin Harrison Jr. was the best thing they could do.

This seems like a pretty good stat
Marvin Harrison has topped 100 yards receiving for the 10th time in his career to move into a tie for third at Ohio State with Michael Jenkins (2001-03) and Garrett Wilson (2019-21). Chris Olave (2018-21) had 11 and David Boston (1996-98) holds the record with 14.
