It was a fun two days for fans of the Washington Commanders and the Baltimore Ravens. Instead of fans searching for clips of their favorite players making plays on teammates in glorified walkthroughs, you had the Commanders battling the Ravens in 11-on-11 drills and 1-on-1s.
There were plenty of highlights from the previous two days of joint practices. Many of those comments center around the multiple fights on Tuesday. From the Ravens’ perspective, a backup wide receiver slamming a 170-pound cornerback from behind is heroic.
And from the other point of view, rookie cornerback Emmanuel Forbes isn’t going to take —- from anyone.
Here are some of the best reactions from social media regarding the Commanders and Ravens’ joint practices.
Mark Andrews didn't want any part of Daron Payne
Mark Andrews is fine giving a 5’9 170lbs CB a belly to belly suplex but the moment Daron Payne told him to take his helmet off he froze up and walked away. Daron’s one of the last people in the nfl I’d fight. Daron would maul Andrews https://t.co/7TVP3quaxA

Reactions to Andrews' takedown of a much smaller Danny Johnson
Who knew the Ravens were so soft that it would be this easy to get under their skin!

Sam Howell vs. Ravens
It sure sounds like Sam Howell didn't fold against the #Ravens in joint practices. The offseason skeptics have changed their tune.

Sam Howell has thrown 0 INTs against the Ravens in joint practice

Practice just ended. I watched the Commanders offense against the Ravens defense.
Biggest takeaway: David Ojabo looked really good today. He was disruptive on just about every play and had a sack on Sam Howell early.
Otherwise, a pretty even day with wins for both sides.
