Georgia Bulldogs wide receiver Ladd McConkey had NFL media and draft scouts raving after his spectacular performance at the 2024 NFL combine. McConkey ran a 4.39 second 40-yard dash, which is tied for third among wide receivers at the combine.
The two-time national champion ran through the gauntlet drill with ease, plucking numerous footballs throwing his way without dropping a single one. McConkey’s combination of impressive athletic testing, incredible tape and character makes him one of the draft’s most desirable prospects.
McConkey’s NFL combine performance drew praise from Kirk Herbstreit, Rich Eisen, Daniel Jeremiah and more. What did social media have to say about Ladd McConkey’s day at the combine?

McConkey is a UGA legend
I plan on living a few more decades at least and it’ll be nearly impossible to take Ladd McConkey off my personal Mount Rushmore of Georgia Bulldogs of my lifetime.

Georgia's impressive WR evaluations
On a flight that just landed, but I see that its been a pretty good day for former 3-star WR’s who UGA did the work to eval and offer…

McConkey a first-round pick?
Impressive NFL combine for Ladd McConkey. He looks like a first-round pick, but this is a stacked WR class.

This is a fair point
Puka Nacua went 5th round at 177 overall. Have a feeling Ladd McConkey won't have to wait nearly as long to hear his name called at the NFL Draft. https://t.co/0SZsFfdQUg
